Hello, my name is April. Lover of starry skies, the smell of rain, changing seasons and all things minimalism. I graduated from California State University, Fullerton in 2017 with a B.A. in Communications. During my time there, I discovered and deepened my love for writing and creativity. At the same time, I desired to be debt and loan-free upon graduating. So I worked a part-time job with full-time school, changed my financial habits and started a savings account with a goal to pay my tuition each semester and save every extra bit.
I had decided to get rid of most of my stuff by selling them online to fund my college expenses. This was when I stumbled upon the term “minimalism” by accident. Along the journey, I loved the clean and freeing feeling I received from letting go of the unnecessary and continued to donate or throw out anything that did not add value to my life. These days I feel like I have finally finished decluttering my life, so with my free time I love listening to audiobooks, blogging, dancing salsa, traveling with my boyfriend and focusing on the self-development goals I plan to accomplish.
My goal for this blog is to help you declutter and minimize your life too so that you can start living a more intentional, simple and money-saving lifestyle. Stick around for DIYs, book of the month reviews, experiments and challenges, lifestyle changes plus more minimalism content and ideas!
